Wow, I can’t believe the time has so quickly came and past that Allison and Jason exchanged vows and entered into covenant relationship with one another. It seems like just the other day that I was meeting them for the first time. It’s truly amazing how fast time flies and I’m sure they’re saying the same thing. It wasn’t to long ago that Allison and Jason met for the first time. Look backing, I know for fact that Allison is grateful she took a leap of a faith and innocently offered her phone to Jason. Who would have know that such a simple gesture would lead to such a wonderful blessing. Allison and Jason’s wedding day was held at Middleton Place in Charleston. The day began with everyone getting ready at the Inn and praying that the rain holds out. Thankfully, it did. The overcast clouds were much better than pouring rain, especially for a ceremony at the Octagonal Gardens. The sun peaked through the clouds just as the ceremony began, making light for a grand entrance by Allison and her father. After the ceremony, we walked around the gardens taking advantage of the wonderful scenery. Because of the overcast lighting, I decided to shoot a little more black and white than usual. I really like the mood it created. At the reception, the band “Shimmer,” lead everyone into a spectacular evening. The band played tons of classics from Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra to all the modern hits everyone knows. They definitely rocked the house and had everyone dancing like crazy. What a wonderful wedding my good friend Chelyse Harp of Intrigue Design & Events put together, well done!
