WOW! What amazing weather Natalie and Matt were blessed with for their wedding. I must tell you that when we starting shooting it was literally pouring down rain outside. Everyone was contemplating whether or not to move the ceremony underneath the tent but thankfully Natalie wanted them to hold off just a little bit longer. Incredibly enough, the storm let up and transitioned to some of the best weather we’ve shot in, in awhile. The ceremony was held beneath beautiful blue skies, beside the Stono River at The Island House on John’s Island, SC. Natalie grew up in the Charleston area with her parents out in Summerville, even though most of her family lives in Georgia, Natalie and Matt both decided that Charleston was the best place to celebrate their marriage. The two of them met each other back in college at UGA, nearly four years ago. They were both finance majors and had multiple classes together, obviously Matt couldn’t get enough of Natalie. It wasn’t long before they began spending all of their time together and building their new life. I know I had a wonderful time photographing their wedding and we definitely got some amazing pictures for them to keep forever. One of my favorite things about the two of them is that they pick on each other in a fun and loving way, it’s really funny to watch. I’m so glad I was able to capture their special day! We wish you the best!
